It’s one of our research peptides. CJC-1295 DAC is most often studied with a ghrelin mimetic, which is why we sell the CJC-1295 and ipamorelin stack. For a short-acting comparison, see sermorelin.

What is CJC-1295 DAC?

CJC-1295 is a modified version of GHRH(1-29) with four amino acid swaps that make it harder to break down. The DAC (drug affinity complex) version adds a chemical linker that binds to albumin in the blood.

That albumin binding is what stretches its half-life from minutes to days.

CJC-1295 DAC research

In a 2006 study by Teichman and colleagues, a single injection of CJC-1295 in healthy adults raised GH levels for several days and kept IGF-1 up for more than a week. The half-life was 5.8 to 8.1 days. A second study found it kept GH pulses intact.

Development by ConjuChem stopped, and it isn’t approved for any use. Read the studies on PubMed.

Measuring and storage

It ships as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder in a sealed sterile glass vial. Before reconstitution, keep vials in the fridge at 2 to 8°C, or in the freezer for longer storage, away from light.

To reconstitute, let the vial reach room temperature, then add sterile diluent slowly down the side of the glass. Swirl gently and don’t shake it. As an example, adding 2 mL to a 5 mg vial gives 2.5 mg/mL, so every 0.1 mL holds 250 mcg. Write the date and volume on the vial.

Once mixed, keep it refrigerated and use it within the window your protocol allows. Most labs avoid repeated freezing and thawing of reconstituted peptide, because it can break the chains down.

Lab testing and certificate of analysis

Each batch of this peptide is tested by MZ Biolabs, an independent lab in Arizona, for identity and purity. The current certificate of analysis is dated 07/03/25 and reports 98.96% purity. Email us for the full COA if you need it for your lab records.

CJC-1295 DAC FAQ

What does DAC mean?

Drug affinity complex. It’s a linker that lets the peptide bind albumin, so it lasts much longer in the blood.

Is CJC-1295 DAC the same as mod GRF 1-29?

No. Mod GRF 1-29 is CJC-1295 without DAC, and it has a half-life of about 30 minutes.

How should I store it?

Refrigerated, sealed and out of light.

Why researchers buy from Sports Technology Labs

Most online peptide sellers don’t publish lab results, or they hide the name of the lab. We do the opposite. Every batch is tested by MZ Biolabs, an independent lab in Arizona, for identity and purity, and we list the COA date and purity on each product page. Peptides are freeze-dried in sterile glass vials and kept refrigerated until they ship.

Shipping, returns and support

Orders over $149 ship free inside the US, and express shipping is there at checkout if you’re short on time. Everything we sell is covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee. Questions about a batch, a COA or an order? Email us and a real person will answer.
