NAD+ 500 mg: 500 mg of lyophilized NAD+ in a sealed sterile glass vial. Third-party tested at 96.08% purity. For laboratory research use only.

Description

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is the coenzyme every living cell uses to make energy. Each vial holds 500 mg of freeze-dried powder in sealed sterile glass.

It’s sold with our research peptides, although NAD+ is a coenzyme, not a peptide. Researchers studying metabolism and aging often order it alongside MOTS-c.

What is NAD+?

NAD+ carries electrons in hundreds of reactions, including the ones that turn food into ATP. It’s also used up by enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs, which are involved in DNA repair and the cell’s response to stress.

NAD+ levels fall with age in many tissues, which is the main reason it has become a research target.

NAD+ research

Mouse studies found that raising its levels with precursors like NMN and NR improved mitochondrial function and some markers of aging. Human trials of precursors have shown they raise blood levels, with mixed results on health outcomes.

Direct infusions have been studied in small groups, but larger trials are lacking. Ours is for research only. Read more on PubMed.

Measuring and storage

It ships as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder in a sealed sterile glass vial. Before reconstitution, keep vials in the fridge at 2 to 8°C, or in the freezer for longer storage, away from light.

To reconstitute, let the vial reach room temperature, then add sterile diluent slowly down the side of the glass. Swirl gently and don’t shake it. As an example, adding 5 mL to a 500 mg vial gives 100 mg/mL, so every 0.1 mL holds 10 mg. Write the date and volume on the vial.

Once mixed, keep it refrigerated and use it within the window your protocol allows. Most labs avoid repeated freezing and thawing of reconstituted peptide, because it can break the chains down.

Lab testing and certificate of analysis

Each batch of this peptide is tested by MZ Biolabs, an independent lab in Arizona, for identity and purity. The current certificate of analysis is dated 03/27/25 and reports 96.08% purity. Email us for the full COA if you need it for your lab records.

NAD+ FAQ

Is NAD+ a peptide?

No. It’s a coenzyme made from two nucleotides. We sell it with our peptides because it’s used in similar research.

Why is NAD+ studied in aging?

Levels drop with age, and it’s needed by enzymes involved in DNA repair and energy use.

How should the vials be stored?

Refrigerated, sealed and out of light.

Why researchers buy from Sports Technology Labs

Quality control is the whole job for a research supplier, so we keep it visible. Each batch is tested by MZ Biolabs, an independent Arizona lab, and the result is printed right on the product page. Our peptides arrive freeze-dried in sealed sterile glass vials, and you can contact us for the full COA whenever you need it.
