What is liquid S23?

S23 is a non-steroidal SARM from the same University of Tennessee research group that produced andarine (S4). It binds the androgen receptor with very high affinity, and in rats it’s been described as close to anabolic steroids in strength.

Its oral bioavailability in rats is about 96%, peak levels arrive around 4 hours, and the half-life is close to 12 hours. Most of the interest in S23 came from its study as a possible male hormonal contraceptive.

S23 research in rats

In the 2009 contraception study, S23 combined with estradiol benzoate suppressed sperm production in all male rats, and fertility came back after the compound was stopped. The same work found S23 raised lean mass and bone mineral density and cut body fat in a dose-dependent way.

A separate study in postmenopausal female rats found S23 increased sexual motivation without growing uterine tissue. There are no human trials of S23. You can read the rat studies on PubMed.

Measuring and storage

At 20 mg/mL the math is simple: 1 mL holds 20 mg, 0.5 mL holds 10 mg and 0.25 mL holds 5 mg. The full 30 mL bottle holds 600 mg. Draw from the fixed glass dropper and read the volume at eye level.

Keep the cap tight and store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. PEG-400 doesn’t need refrigeration. If the solution looks cloudy after cold shipping, let it sit at room temperature and swirl it gently.
