Description

PEG-400 is the solvent we use to make almost every liquid SARM in our range. The exceptions are MK-777 and the topical RU-58841. If you buy one of our powders and want to make your own solutions, this is the carrier we’d point you to. It’s the same material that goes into our bottles, sold on its own.

It lives in our research supplies category. It’s most often bought with powders like ostarine powder, RAD-140 powder or MK-677 powder. At $19 a bottle, it’s an easy add-on to an order.

What is PEG-400?

Polyethylene glycol 400 is a clear, slightly thick liquid made of repeating ethylene oxide units, with an average molar mass of about 400 g/mol. It mixes with water and alcohol, has low toxicity and is used widely in pharmaceutical and lab preparations.

It dissolves many compounds that don’t dissolve in water, which is why it’s the standard carrier for SARM solutions.

Why labs use PEG-400 as a solvent

PEG-400 is listed in the US Pharmacopeia and appears in oral, topical and injectable drug formulations. It’s chemically stable, doesn’t evaporate the way ethanol does and keeps dissolved compounds evenly spread through the liquid.

Those traits make it a good fit for measuring by volume, which is how most research protocols are written. Once a compound is fully dissolved, every millilitre carries the same amount. Researchers can find formulation studies on PubMed.

Using PEG-400 with SARM powders

Weigh your powder, add part of the solvent and stir until it dissolves, then top up to your final volume. Warming the bottle in a warm water bath helps with stubborn compounds. For example, 2,000 mg in a final volume of 100 mL gives 20 mg/mL.

Store the bottle at room temperature, capped, away from direct sunlight. It can absorb moisture from the air, so keep the cap on between uses.

PEG-400 quality

This is the same USP-grade solvent we use in our own production. Every bottle ships in UV-resistant glass with a tamper-proof seal. Contact us if you need supplier documentation for your lab records.

PEG-400 FAQ

Is PEG-400 the same solvent used in your liquid SARMs?

Yes, for nearly all of them. MK-777 uses a mix of polyethylene glycol and ethanol, and the topical RU-58841 uses its own carrier.

Does it need refrigeration?

No. Room temperature is fine. Keep it sealed and out of sunlight, and it will keep for a long time.

Can it dissolve every SARM?

It works for most of them. A few, like MK-777, dissolve better with some ethanol added. If you’re unsure about a compound, email us and we’ll tell you what we use.

Why researchers buy from Sports Technology Labs

Research only works when the material matches the label. That’s why an independent lab (MZ Biolabs) checks every batch we sell, and it’s why we print the COA date and purity on each page. We bottle in the USA and pack liquids in UV-resistant glass with tamper-evident seals. If a COA ever doesn’t match, we don’t sell the batch.

Shipping, returns and support

For laboratory research use only

Our PEG-400 is sold as a laboratory solvent for preparing research solutions. It isn’t sold as a food, drug or supplement, and this listing isn’t intended for human or veterinary use.
