What is SR-9009 liquid?
Stenabolic (SR-9009) was developed at The Scripps Research Institute and described in a 2012 Nature paper. It activates REV-ERB-alpha and REV-ERB-beta, nuclear receptors that help run the circadian clock and control how the liver, muscle and fat tissue handle lipids and glucose.
It has no effect on the androgen receptor and doesn’t change testosterone. Its main problem as a drug is poor oral bioavailability, which is worth knowing if you’re designing a study around it.
SR-9009 research in mice
In the original Scripps work, mice given SR-9009 showed higher energy expenditure and lost fat mass. A 2013 follow-up found treated mice ran longer and further than controls, and muscle cells made more mitochondria. Other mouse studies looked at lower cholesterol, reduced atherosclerotic plaque and changes in sleep patterns.
A 2018 study also found SR-9009 killed several types of cancer cells in culture. Later research showed some effects happen even without REV-ERB, so the mechanism isn’t fully settled. The papers are on PubMed.

Measuring and storage
At 20 mg/mL the math is simple: 1 mL holds 20 mg, 0.5 mL holds 10 mg and 0.25 mL holds 5 mg. The full 30 mL bottle holds 600 mg. Draw from the fixed glass dropper and read the volume at eye level.
